19歳でスコットランド・エディンバラに2年間留学し、その後ニューヨークへ渡ってスタジオアシスタントを経験。さらにイギリス・ロンドンに2年滞在してドキュメンタリーフォトグラファーとして研鑽を積む。

 

帰国後は雑誌や広告でフリーのフォトグラファーとして活動し、2006年にはモロッコで撮影した写真をテーマに個展を開催。2008年には横浜・松原商店街の人々を写した「GOOD ORDINARY PEOPLE」を外国人特派員協会（有楽町）で展示した。

 

同年、ノーベル平和賞受賞者のムハマド・ユヌス氏が提唱する「ソーシャルビジネス」の理念に大きな影響を受け、2009年に株式会社ワンズワードを設立。同年12月には「高品質レッスン」に特化したオンライン英会話スクール「ワンズワードオンライン」を立ち上げ、順調に会員を増やす。2011年からはアルゼンチン・ブエノスアイレスへ移住し、スペイン語とタンゴを習得。2013年より世界一周の旅に出て、メキシコシティに惹かれてそのまま移住を決める。

 

2016年には「海外在住の日本語通訳と日系企業をマッチングするサイト・ワンズワードコネクト」を創業。また、趣味のタンゴを活かして「ワンズワード・タンゴ」も運営している。さらに近年は、“次世代整体”を掲げる「カラダナオル」を立ち上げ、究極のヘッドスパや遠隔施術など革新的な施術スタイルを展開し、身体と心の両面から健康をサポートしている。

At the age of 19, he spent two years studying in Edinburgh, Scotland, then moved to New York where he worked as a studio assistant. Following that, he spent another two years in London, England, honing his skills as a documentary photographer.

 

Upon returning to Japan, he began working as a freelance photographer for magazines and advertising. In 2006, he held a solo exhibition featuring photographs taken in Morocco, and in 2008, he showcased “GOOD ORDINARY PEOPLE,” a series capturing everyday life in Yokohama’s Matsubara Shopping Street, at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan (Yurakucho).

 

That same year, he was greatly influenced by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus’s concept of “social business,” which led him to found One’s Word, Inc. in 2009. In December of that year, he established One’s Word Online, an online English conversation school specializing in high-quality lessons, steadily growing its membership. In 2011, he moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he studied Spanish and tango. Then, in 2013, he embarked on a round-the-world journey and was so captivated by Mexico City that he decided to relocate there.

 

In 2016, he launched One’s Word Connect, a platform that matches Japanese language interpreters living overseas with Japan-affiliated companies. Additionally, he leverages his passion for tango by running One’s Word Tango. More recently, he established KaradaNaoru, which promotes “next-generation chiropractic,” offering innovative services such as the ultimate head spa and remote treatments, supporting health in both body and mind.
